Just as blogging has its advantages, apart from all the good that it has accrued to the world of blogs, it also has some potential to cause some dangers. There have been several cases of internet stalking, and through this the stalkers get the chance to gather information from their targets easily. Those making friends with strangers without any knowledge about them can end up providing a lot of information about them making the stalker capable of tracking them much faster. There have been reported cases of stalkers learning about children over the internet and finally they end up abusing those kids, this is one of the dangers that are brought about by blogging.
Due to emergence of mobile blogging, also called moblogs, this has allowed the bloggers to be even more diverse and open in all the areas. Uploading of your journals and diaries in the internet becomes much faster and easy, pictures and details will be provided to the online journals without one taking note the kind of information that he/she is releasing to the public.
Blogging has also caused a lot of problems to workers. Some of the workers who posted information about their work in the company and also about their co-workers, have found themselves in a lot of problems even to an extend of the loosing their jobs. Blogging should be done with a lot of care and clear defined intentions, in order to evade problems that may cause trouble.
Many companies have also fired a lot of its workers, not because of their work but because of what they usually write in their blogs after work. And the first case occurred in the year 2002 when a blogger by the name Heather Armstrong, was fired from work after complaining about her job on her blog
In the same way blogging can make you get fired, also in the same way blogging can make companies refuse to hire you at all. Before you are hired, the company may have some information about your past, what you like and what you don’t like, and since some of the companies usually follow up on the applicants who want to join them in the company, they might end up reading what you write in your online journals making you out of question as one of their future workers, and just because of blogging you end up remaining jobless.
Because blog has also been taken to be a place where one will post all about his or her frustrations, bloggers will end up using bad language and thus discussing them online and publicly over the internet on his/her journal. Although the information that you have posted in a blog may appear harmless when you just have posted it, the information may prove dangerous and threatening as time passes by, if what was included in the blog was carelessly posted.
To therefore get in the safe side, the blogger should be very careful on all the things that he/she is posting to his/her blog.

I’ve worked in Call Center Customer Service jobs for a long time and have thought many times about starting a blog about all the funny, weird and crazy situations I’ve been in, but because I didn’t want to lose my job I didn’t do it, and now that I’m out I can’t seem to remember half of the hundreds of stories lol
