Affiliate marketing is a lucrative business model. However, if you don’t know what you’re doing, it will be a royal waste of your time. Lots of affiliates are struggling and need help. In this post I will be teaching affiliate marketing for beginners. If you’re ready, click play and turn up the volume.
To summarize the points in this video, the points are:
1. You will need a niche & an offer to promote
I recommend using ClickBank.com and searching for products in your niche. For example, if your niche was ‘Dating’, then you would go to the Marketplace and type in ‘Dating’. Then in the left sidebar, you will want to filter out the products with low gravity. Gravity is the number that shows how many affiliates got sales in the last 7 days. The higher the number, the better. I recommend starting out with a Gravity of 10 and higher.
2. You will need a platform
Examples of platforms include:
- Self hosted blogs
- Social media accounts
- Landing Pages
3. Email Marketing
Every successful affiliate uses affiliate marketing as part of their strategy. The objective of email marketing is to create a list and re-market to your leads and earn additional sales through email broadcasts and auto-responder messages.
I don’t spend much time in this video talking about traffic and there’s a very good reason. There are a variety of methods for driving traffic. Here are some:
- Google PPC
- Facebook advertising
It’s up to you to pursue the strategy that you’ll use in your business. As always, I’m here to help you in your journey to becoming a successful affiliate. Comment below if you have questions.
