How to Install WordPress in Just Minutes!
Assuming you have your hosting account setup and now in place, we can move forward with the WordPress installation process. The funny thing is that it will probably take a few minutes longer to read this article, than it will be to actually install WordPress and have it live on your site!
Using SiteGround as our preferred web hosting solution, the first thing you will need to do is click on the email you received after setting up your hosting account. Inside this email you will see your account details so you can log in to the main SiteGround members area.
Once logged in, you will see a screen like the one below.
The next screen will be to setup your account information, which simply asks you to create your admin email (use your main email address), username (whatever you like) and a password to go along with it. Once filled out, click SUBMIT to proceed.
With your WordPress account and login details in place, you will now have the option to setup a default WordPress theme for your site. SiteGround will give you a few options to choose from.
When you find a theme you like, simply click SUBMIT to proceed. Don’t worry if you aren’t thrilled about the WordPress themes available at this time, as you can change it after the installation is complete.
The last step in the review your WordPress account and login details. You can write this information down, or check your email as it will likely be sent there as well.
How exciting! Your blog is now fully installed and live!
