Hi there, my name is Zac Johnson! A lot of people are familiar with my blogging and content creation work; however, I have a huge passion for fishing.

During the past few decades, I have built a career around creating content and sharing information in a digital format that can be accessed globally, all from behind a desk. However, I have some moments I treasure even more that have nothing to do with work. Fishing gives me the chance to be on the water, casting my line well before the sun rises, and savoring the quiet moments the fishing life brings.

Living on the Jersey Shore gives me fantastic saltwater fishing. Fishing on the beach is one of the best ways to enjoy the outdoors.

Surfing and fishing the local inlets is always a fun adventure, and I appreciate all the New Jersey coastline has to offer.

Freshwater fishing also brings fantastic streams, rivers, lakes, and reservoirs throughout New Jersey and beyond.

Fishing in unfamiliar waters offers a new set of challenges and is the reason for my passion for the sport.

The Endless Joy of Fishing Around the World

Fishing has become a driving force in how I travel. When I go to a new place, I am always on the look out for good fishing spots. Fishing in a new place is a great way to see the other side of a location and engage with the people, wildlife, and environments in the area.

Being just 15 mins from the beach is an amazing blessing most would take for granted.

Nothing compares to fishing in Key West. The stunning scenery and multitude of fish, along with the clarity of the water make for a great fishing spot, and with an all year availability, makes it a year round favorite of mine. Key West has some of the best fishing in the world.

While in Key West, we ran into the “FishMonster” himself! My dad’s a huge fan too!

I built this site to help other anglers share my passion. I have a background in publishing and creating digital content. I have used this background to build successful online resources, however, the fishing content comes from a love of the sport and an eagerness to help people find good fishing spots, teach them to fish, and help them enjoy the great outdoors.

In this site you will also find great fishing tips, along with great fishing spots. My goal is to create fun and engaging content, while also meeting new anglers and hearing their stories and feedback.

What makes this site special? Sharing my fishing passion, knowledge, and experiences! The best memories from my life and the best friends I’ve ever had have come from my fishing adventures. I look forward to sharing the journey with all of you anglers around the world.
